Overview of the Volunteer Center Programs

Volunteer Matching:
Individuals, families and groups call our office or search our website to find that perfect volunteer "match". Each call we receive is different. The Center staff determines how busy the volunteer wants to be, what skills and interests they have or wantt o develop, the volunteer's availability and how far they are willing to travel. See the search engine in the right column."Search Volunteer Opportunities" by zipcode and your interest.  If you need more assistance,call us! Youth Program:

The Volunteer Center Youth Program encourages students to find ways to serve in their community.  Many young people want to help but are not sure what organizations need their assistance. A Youth Project Book is available.  The youth program coordinator visits many of the area high schools to talk to students to hear about their interests and then make a match. Employee Volunteer Program:
Many area businesses participate in the Workplace Volunteer Council encouraging their employees to serve in our community. Area businesses want to network to find ways to capture those service hours, find meaningful activities for their employees and learn ways to reward those employees who serve. For more information

 

RSVP
The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program is a program for those 55+ who want to serve in their community. Over 300 volunteers are serving in Outagamie County through the RSVP program sponsored by the Volunteer Center. For more information.
